OUR STORY
We were founded in 1990 by Dr. Tunde Pal under the name Gentle Care For Your Smile. Dr. Pal believes in prevention, education and gentle care. She has built a flourishing practice by providing high-quality, evidence-based care in a relaxed setting.

In 2021, Dr. Pal partnered with Dr. Ziad Al Azawi, a like-minded individual, who shares the same values and beliefs. Dr. Azawi has continued the approach to provide scientific, evidence-based, quality care.

The blend of education, strengths and experience of the all-star team here at Dentistry on 66, allows us to collaborate interprofessionally, so that we can conveniently offer all services in-house.
Dr. Ziad Al Azawi
Dr. Ziad Al Azawi has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. He has been privileged to study, teach, mentor and work all over the globe. His strengths include surgeries, prosthodontics, Invisalign therapy, endodontics, implant, and full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Azawi is a member of the RCDSO and ITI International Team of Implantology (Straumann). He is an avid Real Madrid soccer fan and is always on the hunt for the best burger in town.
Dr. Ban Abdul Rahman
Dr. Ban grew up in Baghdad, Iraq and attended the College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad. From there she was passionate about braces and loved treating children. She completed her Master's degree in Orthodontics and was a clinical instructor at the Orthodontic Department at the University of Baghdad. Then she moved to Qatar and continued her dental passion with her family. In 2009 She was accepted at the international Trained Dentist program at UWO, Canada and received her DDS degree. Since then, she is enjoying practicing dentistry and striving to make visits to the dentist a positive and relaxing experience. Dr. Ban inspired her both kids into the field of dentistry and made her dream come true! She is so proud of both.
Dr. Joshua Sheih
Dr. Sheih is a talented dentist who advanced his education by completing his Master’s degree in periodontics and implantology. He holds many accolades including clinical instructor at the Oral Rehabilitation Centre, Grad Periodontics Clinic at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto and volunteers as a committee member at the Ontario Dental Association. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI), a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). His areas of expertise include: surgical procedures, grafting, reconstruction, implantology, and tissue regeneration.
Dr. Tunde Pal
Dr. Pal is a graduate of the University of Pecs (Hungary) and the University of Toronto (Canada). She supports her clients in achieving optimal dental health and believes in prevention, education and gentle care. Dr. Pal is a member of the RCDSO, the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
